本補充說明之內容優先於《比賽辦法》PDF；未載明之事項仍依 PDF 辦理。

### 1．獎金與特別獎

**原規定**：《比賽辦法》載明主現金獎金池為 USD 12,000 起，特別獎以正式公告為準。  
**→ 現行規定**：總獎金為 USD 14,000+，並將隨贊助加碼；冠軍 1 隊 USD 5,000、亞軍 2 隊各 USD 2,000、季軍 3 隊各 USD 1,000、特別獎 USD 2,000。特別獎隊數與分配方式以正式公告為準。

### 2．報名截止時間

**原規定**：《比賽辦法》僅載明 8/5（三）截止，未載明時間。  
**→ 現行規定**：報名已於 8/5（三）23:59 截止（GMT+8）。

### 3．入選確認方式與期限

**原規定**：入選後由 Team Leader 於通知後 48 小時內回填表單確認。  
**→ 現行規定**：入選者須於 8/9（日）23:59 前，直接回覆初選結果通知 Email 確認參賽，不另填確認表單。

### 4．報名與最終組隊

**原規定**：僅接受完整 3–5 人隊伍，由 Team Leader 代表報名。  
**→ 現行規定**：個人、未滿員隊伍與完整隊伍皆可報名；最終每隊須為 3–5 人，且每位參賽者限加入一隊。

### 5．入選後新增成員

**原規定**：最終名單確認後，成員不得任意更換；特殊情形須事前取得主辦方同意。  
**→ 現行規定**：入選後可增加原本未報名的新成員。最終每隊仍須為 3–5 人，每位參賽者限加入一隊；成員異動請於 8/22 前以 Email 通知主辦方（hackathon2026@chain.tw）。

### 6．六大命題與公布時間

**原規定**：題目開放自由發想，四個方向僅供參考，團隊亦可提出其他領域題目。  
**→ 現行規定**：活動採六大命題制，命題由主辦方與產業夥伴共同制定；完整命題於 8/22（六）實體工作坊公布。

### 7．Demo Day 出席與領獎

**原規定**：中英文《比賽辦法》對 Demo Day 出席規定表述不一致；英文版僅明確要求 Team Leader 到場，並要求得獎隊伍全員出席。  
**→ 現行規定**：所有隊伍最終名單之全體成員均須出席 Demo Day；得獎隊伍並以全體成員出席為領獎條件。簡報可由 Team Leader 或指定隊員擔任。

### 8．過夜安排

**原規定**：《比賽辦法》以「8/29–8/30 活動期間提供過夜安排」表述。  
**→ 現行規定**：僅於 8/29 晚間提供一晚過夜安排，自由參加；可選擇不過夜或當日往返。過夜名額、分區與相關安排另行通知。

### 9．賽前工作坊時間

**原規定**：《比賽辦法》僅載明兩場工作坊日期，未載明時間。  
**→ 現行規定**：Workshop #1 為 8/15（六）14:00–16:00 線上舉行；Workshop #2 為 8/22（六）09:40 報到、10:00–17:00 實體舉行。

### 10．活動官網

**原規定**：英文《比賽辦法》聯絡頁列出舊版測試網址。  
**→ 現行規定**：活動唯一正式官網為 https://hackathon.chain.tw/。

## Rules Addendum｜August 7, 2026

This addendum takes precedence over the Competition Rules PDF. Matters not addressed here remain governed by the PDF.

### 1. Prize Pool and Special Award

**Previous rule**: The Competition Rules state that the main cash prize pool starts at USD 12,000, with special awards subject to official announcement.  
**→ Current rule**: The total prize pool is USD 14,000+ and may increase with sponsorship: Champion, 1 team at USD 5,000; Runner-up, 2 teams at USD 2,000 each; Third Place, 3 teams at USD 1,000 each; and a Special Award of USD 2,000. The number of Special Award recipients and allocation method are subject to official announcement.

### 2. Registration Deadline

**Previous rule**: The Competition Rules state only that registration closes on Aug 5, without a time.  
**→ Current rule**: Registration closed on Aug 5 at 23:59 (GMT+8).

### 3. Selection Confirmation Method and Deadline

**Previous rule**: The Team Leader confirms participation through a form within 48 hours of notification.  
**→ Current rule**: Selected participants must confirm participation by directly replying to the shortlist-results email by Aug 9 at 23:59. No separate confirmation form is required.

### 4. Registration and Final Team Formation

**Previous rule**: Only complete teams of 3–5 may register, through a Team Leader.  
**→ Current rule**: Solo applicants, incomplete teams, and full teams may register. Each final team must have 3–5 members, and each participant may join only one team.

### 5. Adding Members After Selection

**Previous rule**: After the final roster is confirmed, members may not be changed without prior organizer approval.  
**→ Current rule**: A selected team may add members who did not originally register. The final team must still have 3–5 members, and each participant may join only one team. Notify the organizer of roster changes by email at hackathon2026@chain.tw by Aug 22.

### 6. Six Official Challenges and Release Date

**Previous rule**: Topics are open to free ideation; four directions are references, and teams may propose work in other domains.  
**→ Current rule**: The event uses six official challenges co-developed by the organizer and industry partners. The full challenge briefs will be released at the in-person workshop on Aug 22.

### 7. Demo Day Attendance and Prize Eligibility

**Previous rule**: The Chinese and English Competition Rules describe Demo Day attendance differently; the English version explicitly requires only the Team Leader to attend, with all-member attendance stated for winning teams.  
**→ Current rule**: Every member on each team's final roster must attend Demo Day. For winning teams, full-roster attendance is also a condition for receiving the prize. The presentation may be delivered by the Team Leader or a designated member.

### 8. Overnight Stay

**Previous rule**: The Competition Rules state that overnight arrangements are provided during the Aug 29–30 event period.  
**→ Current rule**: One optional overnight stay is available only on the night of Aug 29. Participants may opt out or commute on the same day. Capacity, zoning, and related arrangements will be announced separately.

### 9. Pre-event Workshop Times

**Previous rule**: The Competition Rules list the workshop dates without times.  
**→ Current rule**: Workshop #1 is online on Aug 15 from 14:00–16:00. Workshop #2 is in person on Aug 22, with check-in at 09:40 and the workshop from 10:00–17:00.

### 10. Official Event Website

**Previous rule**: The contact page of the English Competition Rules lists an outdated staging URL.  
**→ Current rule**: The only official event website is https://hackathon.chain.tw/.
